Welcome to Online Maths Grinds
We are a small team, but we are dedicated to teaching maths and making maths more manageable and less stressful for exam years, and to allow students to gain the maximum marks they can with their answers.
What's involved
A weekly online live maths grind, focussing on a specific topic. This is followed up after the class by a past paper homework assignment, which itself is followed up by a solutions video for you to check your answers.
Our Mission
The staff at online maths grinds hope to make students more confident about tackling maths problems, knowing that if they follow the method they will get the correct answer, and hopefully have some fun along the way.

Our Teaching Process
01.
What should we know
We establish what we should know for the topic and what formulae are in the log book that we will want to use.
02.
Worked Examples
We then cover examples of specific questions and how to use them with our formulae.
03.
Questions
After each example, students can ask for clarification on any parts of the solution.
04.
Exam Technique
The second half of the class focusses on past papers, on what is being asked, the wording of the questions and how to lay them out to gain maximum marks
05.
Reinforcement Homework
Maths grinds are great if you are struggling or want to improve your grade, but homework is so important to reinforce that you learned and know how to apply the knowledge.

Video Solutions
The aim of our video solutions it to allow the students to mark their own work, this helps them to understand the marking scheme and understanding of how to lay out exam answers.
